I got the name digitalthinker from the anonymous quote of an  Marine Colonel, "think digitally but carry a hard copy". That was back in 1999 when the internet and digital technology was just beginning to skyrocket. I was at Fort Leavenworth learning to be a polished Army Signal Officer, and I needed a quote to go with my presentation.

It wasn't long after my Fort Leavenworth experience that I retired from the Military and went into business for myself. I love the freedom!

Now I'm using hub pages to spread the word about my passions.

The internet is changing the world in a great way, but don't forget to keep hard copies, store food, grow vegetables, obtain back up power sources and water filtration systems and be prepared for when the S#!t Hits The Fan.

My name is Tony Bolan. I'm not a doom and gloom kinda guy, but I believe in gathering and storing nuts for the winter, and wearing clean underwear in case there's an accident.
